I am sleepy. Ya think Panera would be unhappy if I napped on their couch?
Natter 66: Get Your Kicks.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
OK so what is this "Bean Pot"?
It also has the largest collection of horrifying racist paraphernalia for sale I've ever seen in one place. Mammy salt shakers, planters shaped like caricatured Mexicans with cacti growing for dicks, a stark naked Indian brave statue in full headdress... amyth and I stopped there once several years ago, not knowing, and we're still scarred.
I'm in that time where I'm actually ready to go, but don't need to leave yet. This is why I end up early at the airport.
Hahaha that never happens to me. Unless I'm staying with Nora. And even then I'm sure I was the poky little puppy.
Why oh why can't I be at Allyson's book release?
Seriously!
I'll send you a gift bag.
I like the fondant bat idea. I can do white chocolate ganache, dip the cupcakes in it, and then put the fondant bats on top. Whoot!

I was just looking through my flickr account from 2006/2007 to see if I had photographic evidence, but I couldn't find any. I may have been too traumatized to take pictures. It's probably just as well.
We're pretty sure Corb Lund stumbled in there by accident just a couple of weeks ago, if his Twitter/Facebook updates are anything to go by.
Not crazy! Bean Pot is also a hockey tournament: [link]
I took lots of pictures and they're in flickr, but I set them to private b/c I was afraid of someone thinking that my pictures indicated approval instead of abject horror. To unlock them I'd have to reup my Pro account, maybe I should do that...
Spam Readings. Some people might get a kick out of this: my friend Jonathan reads his spam e-mail very dramatically.
Bon voyage, Perkins! Happy book launch, Allyson!
Okay, SFO has a dim sum place right by my gate that was open at 8:30. Ridiculously expensive, but I had bao. BAO! I haven't had bao since we moved.
I also had an empty seat next to me on the way here. Fingers crossed it happens again on my next flight. Which is in...two hours.
mmm, bao.
What are people doing this weekend?
