You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

What did I come in here for? Where's my coffee? Why is it so windy all of a sudden?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Yesterday it didn't work for me in IE 8, but today it does. (Unless I had a older cached copy yesterday.)

Trust my rage

Joe left our house at at 5am this morning for an 8am flight to Chicago. When he got there, he found out that it was for 8:15PM. Luckily for him, he is really charming and good at talking his way into what he wants. He got on an 8:30 flight with no problems.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I tried Opera 10, Firefox whatever's most recent, and IE 7. But, in the end, I am only curious and don't actually want it to mess with my day to day searching.

This project plan is kicking my ass.

Of the project plan? I don't think it will help.

As for Google, I fire up those browsers fresh each time I try--yesterday and this morning.

Because books.

Google Instant works for me in Firefox (although I am logged in to Google, just for the record). There is an off button for those who don't like it.

For those of you who have a resume and a CV, do you put dates on the resume? When I interviewed, they asked what I had been doing between positions. I'd been employed, but the positions/skills either weren't relevant to the current position or had been repeated in another position.

I was thinking of either leaving them off entirely or putting the amount of time in parentheses instead of the actual dates. Thoughts?
