And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In my experience, People Who Don't Get Computer Stuff just want to know what buttons to press. This person probably can't even see their monitor because it's covered in post-it notes listing key-sequences for complicated tasks like Opening A Word Document and Getting To A Web Page.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In my experience, People Who Don't Get Computer Stuff just want to know what buttons to press.

Which is why it's funny when they are told to "press any key".

("Where is the 'any' key?")

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Up late with worried husband (his parents are being dicks right now) and then had to get up at 5:30 to drive him to the airport. Yesterday was a double-whammy, his car needed a new water pump and mine needed four new tires. So it was Spend All the Monies day. Today is I Am Too Tired Too Work Day.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ugh scrappy, that is like the tri-fecta of suck: family issues, money, and sleep-dep. sorry. tea/coffee for you.

I will now go click Jason's links, um, so to speak.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can only imagine they were looking for a key directly above the 2 key and either finding nothing or hitting F1 to no avail.

Good god, I feel like crap. I need JGL on loop singing improbable songs to me, or something. I got only a couple hours sleep last night.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Heart-ma for your nephew. Frankenbuddha.

Sleep-ma for ita and Scrappy as well.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

People keep jacking with my meetings today. Like, I had one schedule when I came in today and then it went through the jumbletron and is now completely different. It's putting me slightly on edge.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So it was Spend All the Monies day.

But you just spent all your monies on a new TV!

It's putting me slightly on edge.

And they forgot the cheese on Dana's Egg McMuffin. What's the name for days that just want to be slightly fucking with you all the time?

Tino! You bastard.

Always Anti-fascist!

Dude, compared to those people, I am a fricking hacker, man. Which is almost as mindboggling as explaining the "internet flounceoff" on DK. I suppose it's like those super-genius Jeopardy contestants who know everything, but don't recognize the synopsis of, say, "Cheers" or "Taxi".

Yes! Which is why it was VERY sad. (Although if this happened last week, we would not have bought the TV, so I am secretly happy).
