"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Any of the cheaper Soda Club models will do the job. The only advantage the Penguin has (beyond it`s a penguin! You push its beak!) is the glass carafes, but even with that, those are smaller than the other bottles.

I didn`t have bridesmaids either. But who knows what I would have done with them, as I was wearing my grandmother`s wedding kimonos. Which were gorgeous, but probably would not have matched well with poofy sleeved taffeta.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My favorite cheap bride saw some dresses she liked on clearance at Macy's before her wedding, so she just bought them in all the sizes they had, on the assumption that they would fit someone. They were like $40 each!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thanks for the offer Jilli but ypur hoops and hats and parasols would not work. Like Sue I have more of a gwtw thing imagined, and I think light blue, peach, or light yellow.

I just got a call from my NY congresswoman, reminding me to vote in the primary next week. On my Boston house phone! Yeah, no.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This is a woman who, without fail, refers to strapless wedding dresses as "Belle Watling" gowns.

Ahahahaha!!! This is AWESOME.

Buffistas who are Soda Club members, what is a good starter model? I'm not sure I'm ready to spring for the Penguin.

The one I have seems to not exist any more, since they seem to have newer, sleeker models. Mine is closest to the Fountain Jet (which happens to be the cheapest). I've had it for 3 years and it shows no signs of slowing down. I loves it. (I do need new bottles, though.)

hip deep in pie

Yay Erin.

Suzi, my nephew is 14, and I suspect it would be totally reasonable for him to find a place to hang is he was locked out. Of course he lives in the country, so it would be to a neighbour's or a friend's.

All the pastel colours of the rainbow.

I was just telling my mother yesterday that I'm going to do my wedding just like my fancy Masonic ceremony from when I was in high school -- dark green and lighy blue were my colors, and I actually still like them! I also still like the dress (which was technically a wedding gown), but I don't think it would fit anymore.

Whoa, the Google logo is fun today.

Uh, is it supposed to be something? It's the regular logo for me.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There stuff and shit that moves around when you move your mouse.

I dunno - possibly it's in HTML5?

Huh. It works for me in IE8, but the colored balls stay the same size. The balls change size in Chrome.
