sold a bag full of books, mostly mass market papers for $8, which paid for 3 new books for mac plus a couple of bucks left over.

I am re-committing to just reading off my tbr shelves and using the library for a while.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

In the purple or the cream, tiggy? That's really pretty, either way.

the purple, definitely!

Think of what you would have had to spend if you'd been in the wedding :)

originally i was supposed to be, but one of the groomsmen had to drop out and i was the only non-family bridesmaid. she felt terrible telling me, but it was so NOT an issue for me. i actually did go on David's Bridal website to see if they had anything and they had even less of a selection and almost double the price of anything i found. so...yeah.

tiggy, that dress is beautiful!

thanks! i just hope it looks as good ON.

As my brother says "you do me a favor by not asking me to be in your wedding" :)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

(I love being in weddings. Totally ask me. But, then again, I've never had to pay for my own dress)

This is me. But add forgetting to return library books on time and having to pay late fees. Buffista conversation #???.

I am also not buying any more tea until I have worked my way through the variety in my cabinets. Use it or trash it. Sitting in the cabinet forever is silly. And yet...

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

tommyrot, if you can get a recommendation for a reputable chiropractor near you, that's what I'd recommend. I've had my jaw out of alignment (not actually dislocated, I think) in the past and my chiropractor would pop it back in. It hurt a bit to do that but it also hurt to not have it in alignment. So like a lot of my medical conditions, it would choosing short-term pain to avoid worse long-term pain.

Speaking of which, I've spent a lot of the last 3 days in bed due to RSI pain. I'm still hurting but the staying in bed in a room full of moving boxes is making my depression worse so cross your fingers that I can manage to get dressed and out in the world today without completely giving up as I have before.

mac and I are going to bible camp. Yay!?

I know I have to go, and he actually wants me to go, I don't so much want to go, but I want him to go to camps at some point. Hopefully this one experiment will be enough to convince him that he could do one next summer without me. This is less than 24 hours at the camp, just one night there. Still, I may be in charge of a cabin of 3rd and 4th grade girls. And I bet they don't allow alcohol.

You'll never know until you ask the girls.

OTOH, Xanax is completely permittable. In fact, recommended.
