"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It seems I'm developing a habit of only having good sex on holidays. Which, I suppose, is the right way to celebrate.

I'm now heading out to eat a large amount of steak. And possibly howl.

Because books.

So pretty, Aims! You're a painting fool, lady.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

They seem to have discontinued them (the bastards) but Nike made sports bras that zip in the front. I love them like burning.

Paragon still has them it seems. [link]

Place looks great, Aimee.

Ginger, I don't need jeans... I'm still ragging the ones I have for rag rugs. But thank you!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Aims, I love that color combo. It's bright and warm; it's light-hearted, but has depth.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Back from a tough day. An old friend's sister had her house foreclosed on, was given three weeks to move, but had to leave for a week to be there for a friend who died. She is now packing like mad, as she has to be out by next Monday. While she was away, her 94-year-old mother got ill, and is having surgery this Friday that they are not sure she will live through. I was able to help pack and console, so glad I could help even a little.

Sounds like it also might be good with poultry!

I cooked tonight for the first time in forever. In my new kitchen! Made an orzo salad with zucchini and feta, and it didn't suck. Go me.
