Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I just took a shower and now feel like a wet noodle. My hands/arms are very floppy with RSI pain. I think I'mma go right back to bed. Productivity later.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I am definitely of the "it gets worse before it gets better" school of cleaning, with a bad tendency to get stuck in an extended midterm of"worse." Like, right now, with every single box laid out in my living room until I got my attic panels installed. Except I ordered the wrong size, and then one was broken and then...

But! Now they are done. And at some point later today I will have cleanliness with bonus extra storage space!

This morning we hiked the beginning of the backcountry trail at Painted Desert. Down was ok, but up seriously kicked my ass. Literally. My glutes are burning. It was just a lot, with all my muscles still sore from yesterday. But so worth it! It was just gorgeous. Got our money`s worth for our time off. House stuff and music stuff and nature stuff. Now I and Seabiscuit are chilling on the deck and the SO is doing yardwork. It`s been a good weekend.

Now tagless for your comfort.

While I was out picking up Olivia's prescription for strep throat, Owen took the opportunity to create a Scott Pilgrim avatar and post it to my Facebook page. Now he's telling everyone about it on Twitter.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just about finished assembling the armoire. Only dislocated one joint in the process. Also, my back is killing me now. No more furniture assembling for a while.

Applied paint and stripper. Made a shake, washed and put away the produce. Now gotta go remove the stripper.

Oh and there was a Loki induced nap in there too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My rice with sausage and a wee bit of beans, as it turned out, is quite tasty. Which is good, since I will be eating it for days.

On the furniture, right?

No, on me. Left shoulder, as usual. (I really need to get back into building dollhouse furniture. I did that in high school, and really enjoyed it, and it gives me a way to build things without risking my joints.)

Yowza! And I thought Hubby was blase about such things.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thus far a good day of being outside and with family. Good stuff.

I would very much like a shower.

I bought 4 hatch chilis the other day and roasted them myself. Need to maybe make some chili cormbread.
