Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finally got all the pieces of my new armoire upstairs to my bedroom. Now, I've got to assemble it. But I think the proper sequence of events should be eating lunch, then putting together class notes for tomorrow, then armoire. Then dinner, because I've got some chili in the slow cooker.

Why doesn't spell check like armoire?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Anti-French sentiment, Hil?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kat, I am too stupid it seems to vote for your books. Or my computer is too stupid or something. I can't get the site to accept my email address for some reason. But I am trying!

msbelle, I love my OPI Catch Me In Your Net. It's all shimmery blue/green. I wore it for half the summer.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Scrappy, that's awful.

Katy Perry's first hit was the faux lesbo "I Kissed a Girl." Then she released "Ur So Gay," which is doubly offensive due to the spelling and using "gay" as a pejorative term. [link] That one-two punch pretty much soured me on her. And she has proceeded to annoy me ever since.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I turned on Hoarders, and then did a bunch of shredding, so that's good.

Compassionately intolerant

I was going to say 'freedom closet' but brenda beat me to it.

OK, I have paint brushes. Apply paint, paint stripper or sit here?

Now tagless for your comfort.

This morning Liv got up at 5. So I spent close to four hours going down the Ancestry.com rabbit hole. Looks like my all my people hail from England and Wales. I tracked most of them pre-Revolutionary War.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The problem with clean all the things is that I get to the point of pulling all the clutter out where I can see it and then lose momentum, so all I have is more things and less clean.
