Yay for Sue`s power!
I am ready to gear up for firewood season. Because of our inebriated chimney sweep incident last year, we still have about a third of a cord left. If I get my wood racks built, I can have our nearly Mennonite friend bring us two cords, oak and aspen, and we should be pretty good for the season. We will likely buy from our church buddy too, but I have to say I do not like how he cuts and stacks nearly as much. Our nearly Mennonite buddy sells from his own winter stash, so it`s all completely correct, and he`s the one who taught us how to stack.
Anyway, today is day three of four of awesome weekend, and I might spend it doing all household construction tasks. Plus I think I figured out how I want to do my birdfeeders for this winter, so I need to go to Ace and price out my materials.

I am Cleaning All The Things this long weekend, too. Did you know that the coils on an electric range can be unplugged, so you can take out the drip pans and scrub them and clean under them? I didn't - I found it out by accident. Now you know! And knowing is half the battle!
