Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Moving is tough on anyone, so it makes sense that he's regressing. Of course that doesn't mean it isn't INCREDIBLY hard on him and msbelle. It'll be better for him in the long run, but he can't know that and big changes bring out the angry in anyone who still doesn't have a handle on their own feelings. msbelle is doing a hero's work every day.
