"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Ugh, Calli, sounds like a drag.

Grace woke me up at 4:00 with an alarming monitor. I think we've gotten a bad sensor. I'm going to need to remember to order more when I order supplies.

In other news? Apple Cider Vinegar, apparently, is the bomb! It will speed up digestion. I have learned that reflux is not from too much acid, usually, but from too little. So if you can speed up gastric emptying then you can avoid reflux. So, ACV it is!

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

speaking of Dean Winters(and i love him and those Mayhem ads!), did y'all know he almost died last year? [link]

Because books.

Gronk. It's Wednesday, right?

We had our first tears this morning. Sara had a great first day at school yesterday, but we drove her because they didn't have bus info yet. This morning she panicked about riding a new bus and not knowing how to get to her classroom. Poor noodle.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Whole Foods' store brand apple cider vinegar is so good I could almost drink it straight. Seriously. If you're going to be hitting the ACV that's the stuff.

Holy shit! That sounds like an episode of House. Poor guy. I mean lucky in the end, but talk about a painful illness and recovery.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap, Dean Winters.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Blech, it's so hot.

September in Nova Scotia is not supposed to be like this.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bragg's makes an apple cider vinegar drink that I think is the vinegar mixed with regular cider in some proportion to make it taste OK for drinking but also have enough vinegar to get the benefits of that. (The health claims on the Bragg's bottles tend to be ridiculous, but the products are usually pretty good. Plus, you get the fun of reading the completely ungrammatical "celebrity" endorsements on the back of the bottle.)

right?! it's weird that we never heard anything about it when it actually happened. if you look closely in the Mayhem ad where he's driving the car(the Becky's not hot one) you can see that the tip of his thumb has been amputated.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

shit I did not say - "your employee told us to keep the service and charge it this way. you were gone for 3 weeks. now these bills are 5 weeks overdue and you need to approve them. if your guy made a mistake, that is your cost to eat, not mine. approve the g-d invoices, mf."

ending all arguments with mf makes my days a little brighter.

yesterday was day of errands/laundry, today I'd like to un-clutter the back livingroom and maybe organize books in the front room a bit. you know, in between work.
