Coding and Sleeping

Awww.

I like how he's on old school Vice President. Almost completely invisible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dana, you'll still have Colin.

I finally heard the Fuck You song and was quite amused. How is that being aired in the major markets? Blank spaces?

Working from home today. About an hour before I can pick up my meds.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The radio-friendly version of "Fuck You" is "Forget You".

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just tried to pick up a prescription and failed. The pharmacy called my doctor's office FIVE days ago to get a reauthorization. I didn't check to see that it came in, because it's not even a DRUG, it's a vitamin (Deplin). No response from the doctor's office. No call from the doctor's office to me, either. I called them, and there's not even an option to talk to someone; all you can do is leave a message for the receptionist or leave a message for the doctor.

This is the same doctor who left me for a month without antidepressant meds last year, because he wouldn't reauthorize without seeing me, and I couldn't get an appointment to see him for a month. His is the first doctor's office I've ever had that didn't call to remind you that you're due to see the doctor again, lest you run out of meds. Hell, even my dentist's office calls when I'm due for an appointment.

Am I just really pissed over nothing, or am I justified in finding a new shrink?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Today's Argument Fail:

Planned Parenthood is bad because Margaret Sanger was a racist.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

You need a new shrink!

ION, so do I.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Planned Parenthood is bad because Margaret Sanger was a racist.

Yawn. It's not even an original bad argument.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Am I just really pissed over nothing, or am I justified in finding a new shrink?

I'd be pissed off and shopping around. But then, I'm big on the whole, "I'm paying you for a service, not for the privilege of waiting until you deign to notice my existence," thing.
