I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I had fish, which must automatically lower my cholesterol, right? We won't mention the sauce I made with a tiny bit of butter and a splash of heavy cream.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In other whiny news, as long as it doesn't kill a lot of people, I will be pissed if Hurricane Earl ruins my Friday afternoon.

hip deep in pie

I will be pissed if Hurricane Earl ruins my Friday afternoon.

I'm pretty sure it's going to ruin my plans to visit my folks for the weekend.

Because books.

I just went to Staples for the one thing on Sara's school supply list I couldn't find at Kmart. The line was literally 40 people. It looked like people camping out for concert tickets.

Be responsible, woman. Cook summat.

Grilled cheese!

I'm just going to put it out there that you really deserve to have an awesome trip with no troubles, hurricane-related or otherwise.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

It is cool, Jesse! Sort of jawdropping and amazing, actually.

I like their stuff but it`s too sweet. I also refuse to buy mangoes on the mainland. See also: papaya, pineapple, guava, avocado

We grow avocados in our yard! Love Papaya, even the Strawberry Papayas.
