Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't add fat to my grilled cheese! You people are weird.

No, I'm sorry, you are clearly the weird one.

This is like the conversation at brunch the other weekend where someone was trying to understand why anyone thought a runny egg yolk was a good idea. Because many many people think it is!

Because books.

I just grill (broil, whatever) it.

Well, a good grilled cheese should be grilled in butter, so.

Now I want a grilled cheese. Or mozzarella sticks! But not both at the same time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Urk. Just, urk.

And how dare you mention runny egg yolks in blackfont, Jesse? have you no heart?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha ha ha! I forgot you have that one, too! Now I want to ask C how she feels about fried cheese.

not your mom's socks.

Hooray Perkins!

(hooray amych with the pornpoms)

Msbelle, wishing you strength and agreeing on getting the teacher involved, if possible.

I am in the 'why am I even attempting this?' spot again. The headline on a local mag about certain universities being impossible for superkids to get into - NOT HELPING. I forgot my ooomph today.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I live in the land of fried cheese.

YAY Perkins!

Excellent news, Perkins!

Man, I'm wiped. Drive out to the Y and a trip to TJs after nearly nullified the zenmaking of swimming. It'll get better. Besides, no housework tonight, because I'll be out at a dinner party tomorrow night, so no time to strip paint.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Just spent a half hour in my parents' cluttered garage looking through moving boxes to find the results of my SPECT scan. No dice. Found a couple things I could bring in the house but not that.

Has anyone here ever scanned in a lot of their documents to have virtually? How did you adjust your budgeting, medical tracking, etc. to cope with that? I'm far from having scanned everything in - I just started. But even though I desperately need to pare down my possessions (and paperwork is a perfect candidate), I'm kinda nervous about how it's going to go.
