'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Signed, Always the Last to the Tech Party

Not quite last.

I'm starting to see a trend. For jobs that pay very little, I am handed a bottle of wine with my check. Is this so that I develop a hobby/habit for when I'm destitute?

Brenda's sister sends a thank you to all of us for our concern. She found it reassuring.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Olivia is signing "Hail to the Geek" in the bathtub. Excuse me while I gloat with pride.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That was awesome. I am filled with glee, no pun intended.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I know its more work, but it sure sounds like everybody's eating better with their CSAs.

Vegetables in general are more work, but a CSA makes it easier (for me, anyway) to aquire them on a regular basis. Meat is so easy that it's easy to get into a rut.

My primary CSA nemesis at the moment is watermelon. Even splitting one with my neighbor every week, that is a LOT of watermelon for three people to eat. And my freezer can only hold so many watermelon popsicles!!

Need to figure out something for the Kohlrabi. That is my current challenge.

Kohlrabi makes excellent slaw. (Just treat it like you would a carrot. The last time I had it in my CSA box was during beet season, so I put them both through the food processor grater attachment and made a really yummy slaw that turned everything in its path bright pink.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hi all! Just back from Flagstaff! Had a great visit with Kat & K. & the twins! The kids are so awesome and I got to hear Noah say "bilateral symmetry" AND I got to hear Grace`s giggle in person. Both things == awe and aww!

Also had a good business meet-up with a work partner, who is having a super rough time (which is to say our students are having a super rough time) so I hope we were able to be of some encouragement and help to her.

Now the Biscuit and I are zonked out and chilling. Laundry soon, as soon as it cools down, which means later evening or when this storm rolls in.

Hope the Kat fam is having an uneventful drive home!
