Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Something I have been saying lately to end trailed off sentences is "...and the what-nots."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Totally verbal tic city.

"Totally" is one of mine, though I think shrift gets it worse than you guys do. And definitely. And starting my sentences with so.

Because books.

I use ellipses too much when I post. Even I know this. But I don't really care, because I like my little trio of dots.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm incredibly ticcy. And judgy. And prone to gratuituously ending things with "y".

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I think I use too many qualifiers. Like "I think", and "pretty much", and "sort of". As if I'm afraid my opinion will annoy someone, so I throw in qualifiers to dampen the effect somehow.

Compassionately intolerant

I use ellipses too much when I post.

Oh man. I am the most unrepentant ellipses abuser around. All. Day. Long.

Knowing how wrong it is, I still write like I speak...pauses and all.

eta: I also begin far too many sentences with And.

And, I'll start a statement with "I don't want to be harsh but...no wait, that's not true, I DO want to be harsh because..." No one has ever suggested that is annoying, but I bet it really is.

ooh, I love the little dots. I use them all the time. I just edit them out before I post/hit send. Maybe I'll lose those wimpy qualifiers and use my darling ellipses without shame...

Oh, I have plenty of others.

So tomorrow is the last night at my pool FOR A WEEK. Expect a week of pissyness as I'll have to drive to one seven miles away. In traffic. During the first week of school. Oy. I may shift MK's shots up to 8 pm.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Zenkitty, I speak back a bit. As calmly as I can (because not being calm makes it escalate). But there's a limit to how much I can tell him he's being unreasonable when I'm living under his roof. Need to figure out a way to get out of here.

Thanks, bonny. :)

I'm annoyed with my own overuse of "awesome" and "epic". Saw them online too much and now they've pushed out the words I would have used before. Pushed them so far I have a hard time remembering what I would have used before.

Most of the verbal phrase peeves upthread don't bug me. One that does is "totes".
