Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If you wrote your own Facebook update, isn't it sort of assumed you like it?

This is my feeling!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If you wrote your own Facebook update, isn't it sort of assumed you like it?

I wouldn't assume that.

But liking your own status still seems unnecessary, at best. In my head, the "like" is to communicate with the status' author.

"Anywho" is a family verbal thing. We all do it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Cleveland needs a Harvey Pekar statue.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bradley Cooper beat Roger Federer at tennis. Okay, there may have been mitigating circumstances.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cleveland needs a Harvey Pekar statue.

I had to look up who that was. I feel very unbuffista-like.

Our wings are not tired.

So many, many things peeve me but the latest one that is driving me to despair is the "to be perfectly honest" or "to be quite frank" and any variant of. Just get to your frakking point, you verbal stammerer! @@@@@@@@@@@@@

Perkins and ND are both in my thoughts and I am sending all good vibes.

Now back to work. I have not had this much workload with this much deadline in at least a year. Last weekend was spent literally mopping up mess after mess and flood after flood from my broken washing machine. This week and weekend are being spent mopping up mess after figurative mess in some documents I am finalizing for FDA.

I don't know which is worse.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oop! I say kiddoes all the time. I say it to differentiate between my students and my, uh, nonexistent putative offspring. ( Now I`m worried about nonexistent. Nonexistant? Non-existent? I dunno.)

I love that story about K. Did she laugh? I think that means she`s doing it right.

I am peeved because I only did a half swim today because I thought I was running late to leave for rehearsal at five. Except that was last week. This week I don`t have to leave until, like, 6:30. But now I`m out of work mode and I am looking at the Giant Piles Of All The Things and I am feeling very meh about it. But there were people at the lake and they were all very nice, so yay for acclimating to mild social contact.

There was an older couple coming in with their sailboat. I asked her if they had a nice time and she said yes. Then she paused and said actually it was their first time out. "You should have seen us...well, no, you shouldn`t have seen us!" They were very cute.
