I'm sorry, Calli.

I said, "Damn, [name]! Sometimes a dude just wants to wear a corset! Ain't nothing weird about that!"
Made of win.
S. woke me up with an Egg McMuffin and a hash brown, and I was so happy! And then it was eh. Total eh. McDonald's, you let me down.
If it's not hot out of the bag/off the tray, it's always a disappointment.
sorry to hear about Uncle Ted, Calli.
Thanks. He was a great guy, but I think I'll miss the idea of him as much as his actual presence. The area where my dad grew up is in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and it's lost most of the population. Uncle Ted was one of the last living windows onto that part of my family background. There's really no one left who remembers Grandpa's farm, building the sauna, or picking blueberries in the back 40. It's all memories of other peoples' stories now.
I'm so sorry, Calli--he does sound really wonderful. I love the idea of a TR lookalike by happenstance going with it!
My Great-great-uncle Gus was like your Uncle Ted in terms of how he fit into the family. He was only five years older than Grandpa, so when his dad died really young, Great-Grandpa took him in and raised him alongside Grandpa and Great-uncle Phil. I didn't even know that he wasn't their brother until I was in my 20s.
That's sad, Calli. I'm sorry.
Sorry, Calli. {{}}
Sympathies, Calli.

I actually think take-out fast food is almost always a mistake. So much better right there!
There is no longer any room to move in my bedroom. This makes packing problematic.

Yep. Of course, the only time I really eat fast food is when I don't have time to eat anything else, so I'm usually eating it in the car anyway.
