Hee. I love Noah`s developmental progress.
Tonight`s dinner was grilled eggplant, zucchini, and squash, with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and salt. It was super yum. But I had it with rice, because I`m Japanese like that.
Oh, and chard chips, which were nom, but the kale, being curly, cooks up better. There`s something so satisfying about seeing what`s fresh at the farmer`s market and eating it for dinner that night.
Also! My Nubar order came! And it is lovely. But there are definitely some close shades, so there will certainly be some going in the box. I`ll just have to figure out which ones.
Oh, and ita, I agree about the liquid graphite being inconsistent. That was supposed to be the advantage of the liquid, that it would be a smooth unchanging line. But it`s not. But I still like it for the financial stuff, which is mostly what I use a pencil for. Although the erase test is still going at day five.

Kids are totally an experiment!
Sara, I think it's awesome that you want to hang out with 15-year-olds, and they want to hang out with you!
I forgot to put a camisole under this dress. I thought it was OK, standing up, but now NSM. Eh.
Are you at work, Jesse? Or can you put a camisole on now?
I'm barely awake and certainly wish I weren't.
What Kat said.
It's still dark out.
I was not yet at work, and did put a camisole on. Just on principle I hate getting naked again after I'm dressed, although I realize that putting a dress on and off takes approx. 2 seconds.
mac is off to school, I have half my fingernails done, and the dishwasher is going. next up, phone meeting with NY. Then getting my invoices in for 2 weeks of work and processing at least 4 troublesome invoices. Then therapy with mom and I think I may call it a day at that point.
Kathy, I'm so sorry.
For MTFs who transition as adults, gotta say, the results are usually waaaay more obvious than FTMs, partly because of size, and because growing a beard is easier than getting rid of one.
I only know one FTM, who transitioned as an adult, and I only ever met him after his transition, and I honestly would never EVER have guessed he wasn't born a male. The MTFs I know (one of whom fulfilled the stereotype and went to Thailand for the reassignment surgery -- and she says the surgeon did an amazing job)...I knew them before they transitioned, so while I have no problem thinking of them as women, I still remember that they're trans women.
With the FTM, I only ever think, "Yeah, he's a dude." And that's how he hopes everyone would think about him.
Funny story: C. (the FTM dude) is one of those multi-talented people who can cook and sew and drywall a basement, etc. So he decided one day that he was going to make himself a corset. And it was a simple corset -- just canvas and twill, but really really well-done. He wore it to a party, and several people pulled his GF aside to ask if C. was regretting transitioning, or was thinking about "going back," or whatever.
I was standing there for one of those conversations, and before his GF could answer, I said, "Damn, [name]! Sometimes a dude just wants to wear a corset! Ain't nothing weird about that!"
I recently got matched on OKCupid with a super cute transguy (he said it in his profile, I guess to weed people out...). Too bad I could not get past my height issue!
Jesse, you're absolutely hysterical.
