Now tagless for your comfort.

DAMMIT! I still can't find HD Five Lemon flavor. I've become obsessed.

My dad and I used to go to this place in our hometown called The Flagpole for ice cream. They did a lemon custard ice cream that taunts my memory with its creamy, lemony goodness.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, those cookie thins are delicious. That's a really good idea. I may have to brave the outdoors for long enough to go the store tomorrow. Er, two stores. Hm.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

the someone who was pissy earlier, calmed down, had some tv time, did his wee bit of homework, was lucky enough to have super cool mom play pokemon figures with him for over half an hour, then getting ready for bed had a good cry about missing his NY friends. and he let me comfort him which is not really his norm. poor noodle.

See now, all he had to actually do was punch another dude in the shoulder and talk about a sport...

That's the nice thing about the HD lemon. I'm used to tart lemon sorbets but this is smooooth and creamy. I smoosh it a little until it's manageable and then onto the cookies. Just a little dab and it's so yum.

Not helping, Hec! *sigh* I've been to five grocery stores and, although some of them are carrying the Five brand, none of them are stocking lemon. Guess I'm going to have to request it.

Does anyone remember a link recently to a NYT profile of an older, female comic book artist? I can't recall her name and I need it.

That is problematic.

Clearly you should come visit San Francisco.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

One of the Three Twins Ice Cream flavors we had at the SF Street Food Festival [link] was Lemon Cookie (the other was Roasted Peach). It was heavenly.

ETA:

Clearly you should come visit San Francisco.

Also, this.
