I feel your pain, amyth. I was out of town for two days and was never in the room to watch TV.

I feel a lot of pressure from my tivo sometimes. It's almost work.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I know! I broke up with Covert Affairs because of the pressure to keep up!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Strangely, I'm watching more TV shows now than I will be once the Fall season starts.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I taught my first class of the day. Went fairly well, I think. I've got three more in the afternoon. Yesterday, I was so tired by the last class that I had to concentrate on just forming words and sentences. I'm figuring I just need some time to adjust to the schedule.

At the end of the first class today, I heard one student say to another, "It's over already? That went by so fast!" which I'm choosing to take as a compliment, and another student thanked me for my explanation of something, which he'd seen before but just as something to memorize, not as something to understand.

I'm glad that a lot of the summer stuff is wrapping up. I worry about the new season :)

Because books.

I can't think of any new fall shows I want to see, aside from Undercovers.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I had to delete a few Top Gears unwatched. I just caught up on Leverage and Mad Men. And I wrote up a big thinky post on Mad Men and how they dealt with the Japanese issues, but my phone ate it.

The one thing that`s weird about the liquid pencil is that it doesn`t smudge. Rubbing it with your finger just erases it. Which is okay I guess, a benefit that it doesn`t get on you. But I would think that would make it not so useful for drawing.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

FOX is on everywhere here.

Ev Er Y Where.

That paired with the moving-more-slowly-at-counters than with which I am accustomed/comfortable? I'm convinced its a deliberate indoctrination strategy.

I cannot express how excited I am about Undercovers.

I'll probably tune in to that No Ordinary Family show, and I'm looking forward to the returns of SPN and Cougar Town. But yeah, summer season was full of interesting stuff to watch this year.
