I find pie more often too sweet than cake. You can't scrape the icing off pie.
Exactly this. Mmm... unfrosted cake is so much yummier and less sweet than pie.
I like almond milk, but I currently love the TJs whole grain milk. Not for me and not for drinking, but for Grace.
someone was pissy about going to school today.
work is biting at my ankles and I want to go back to bed.
my remedy was to buy wine at the grocery.
I realize that in my experience, pie is usually homemade and cake is usually store-bought, so there's that.
I'm going to get my temp crown replaced with a permanent crown this morning, and I think I just got a strawberry seed stuck in my teeth, right next to the crown.
The dentist can help you with that!
Nope. You will have a strawberry plant next to your crown, forever. The upside is, you don't have to waste time picking them or even engaging in the tiresome motion of putting them in your mouth. All you gotta do is chew.
I can't imagine no cake because I love cake and think of pie as meh.
It depends. I probably choose cake over pie most times, but mostly I would go for chocolate anything over anything else. I have been trying to master pie over the last couple of years and have been fairly obsessed with it.

My pies are not overly sweet. I like the tartness of fruit, so I tend to put a lower amount of sugar in, and I don't sweeten the crust at all. I have made apple pies without any sugar, instead using sweeter apples than you normally put in pies.
I kind of like that idea!

Did you see about the guy who had a plant growing in his lung??? It was local here, I think.

What?!? No! NO. Augh!
Lots and lots of pass-it-quick-and-be-done-with-it~ma to Polgara, with a side of whatever painkillers and cabana boys and other comforts will help. Pain that keeps coming back in waves is an utter misery. I'm glad you're home again and at least getting longer and longer breaks in between.
