Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She's been inducted into the world of dilaudid. Which apparently also involves me coming up in conversation.

I'll tell her you're vibing, and my fingers are crossed for whatever is the easiest resolved things that might look like a kidney stone.

Oh, poor Polgera!

But $406 boots are beyond what I can do. Plus, I have fat legs and they probably wouldn't work on my calves. But yes. I do love them.

I have those boots in all-black. Yes, I had to have the calves stretched, but they are now the most comfortable boots I own.

jilli, you also have thinner calves than I have, so I'm assuming that they'd never work for me.

I would be surprised if I did, actually. Years of dancing and walking mean I have pretty thick calves.

Aw, Jilli, I have legs to build an empire on!

But it doesn't matter. I still don't have $406 to throw away on boots. On an ipad, maybe, if I get the software I want for Grace, but not on shoes.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Even if I was rolling in money, I can't imagine spending $400 on a pair of boots.

If I were rolling in money, I would have NO prob spending $400 on boots. Or bras. Or perfume. Or candles, dresses, coats, sweaters, purses, pillows or wine.

But I would BUY all the books. If I were rich, I'd have a Kindle in all the rooms, and library that would be like biblioporn.

However, I still would not be able to spend $400 on a pair of jeans.
