I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I echo your Double YAY! msbelle. That's great.

Old dog tried a new trick: wandered into neighbor's yard (this is ok) and then lay down and refused to get up. When I towel-slung him, he tried to go up her steps, wandered about the yards, basically refusing to go inside. Finally, I stood in the door with a treat and damned if he didn't hobbly run to me. He didn't need the towel, he was being lazy. Then he refused to go back out after he ate. I tried the towel trick, just got to walk around the basement a lot until he just pulled up his front legs. OK, I get the message. Better not pee inside overnight.

OK, he's geriatric, but dogs are just so much more work. Yeesh.

(Of course, twice tonight, while gloved and wielding a brush full of paint stripper and awkward position, I had to go take the roll of paper towels from Loki, so maybe I shouldn't make judgements...)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad you and Mac are both making friends, msbelle.

I kind of slept all afternoon. Oops.

Because books.

Dogs can be so quirky, too, sara. My parents moved, and their dog, who was already a little neurotic (although adorable) didn't take it well, and started sleeping in a closet. Which is fine, unless you don't know he's in there and shut the door.

This is another single mom. I think we are going to get along. Double YAY!

I love hearing this. I'm hopeful the same thing happens when we move. I'd love some more meatspace friends. Although Sox is already planning to come visit, which is awesome.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

People visiting your new place, yay!

I kind of slept all afternoon. Oops.

Me too.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I didn't, but my gronk was mighty.

The status is NOT quo.

Bon, I'm so glad you both enjoyed my city! I love Pasadena so much.

Gah, I just realized I stripped for 4 hours. And prepped 6 more for tomorrow. Which means at least half that again, more if I apply more stripper.

All I have on tap elsewise for tomorrow is swim, laundry and veggie washing, so doable, but.. I'm preemptively being too productive for my own good.

sarameg is a very dedicated stripper, pass it on.
