The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey Perkins, can I have in on the polish exchange this round?

Yep--Kat already asked. You'll have to let me know if you want it to go to just one or both of you.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The expressions of the hipsters when the StuntHusband and I dance to "Bad Romance"? Priceless.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Probably easier to just send it to one of us, right? Either way I guess.

Priceless.

hee.

Yep. If the timing doesn't work out for you to see each other, you can mail it across LA.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Are the Greens as bad?

They're not competitive in my electorate, so they're irrelevant to my vote; but in any case, while they're better on social policy, I wouldn't trust them with running the rest of the country. (They're expected to hold the balance of power in the Senate after this election. We'll see how they handle that.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just back from seeing Crowded House and it was a quieter show than usual, but AWESOME. Lots of lesser-played songs and an amazing solo piano version of "Message to My Girl." The friend we went with said he felt that Neil Finn changed guitars too much and it seemed "pretentious" since they were in the same tuning. I think he's nuts and musicians switch guitars all the time to get different sounds for different songs.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I had four bottles of polish set out to add to the box before it ever got here. Pulled about a dozen out of the box to swatch, found some close dupes to ones I had, but liked the ones from the box better. So I added my dupes to the box. I definitely didn't plan things that way, but I wound up pulling the same amount of bottles from the box as I put in. At least my collection isn't taking up any more space. And I have to say, the guilt over having spent money on a shade I'll never wear? Completely obviated knowing someone else will LOVE those. Plus, I get new-to-me stuff *I* love! Win-win.

Yay Gracie and the tea!

David, haircut was weird--new place/person, and I saw lots of hair fall on the floor, but the hair didn't look that different. Which is probably good since i said I wanted to grow it out! Well see in a couple days how it feels--the curse of curly hair!

Scrappy, your friend is crazy. Musicians change guitars all the time.
