Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah! That! And the kyriarchy. Whoohoo!

And here I was, thinking you did it that way just because you wanted to.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I dont capitalize meara, online, but do cap my IRL name. Dunno why.

Because your RL name is capitalized and meara is not. Clearly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Quite frankly, I like it better, and it's just too late. However, I do adore the word kyriarchy, and I was really itching to use it. So that's my backup line #3 (#1 is "suffix, fuck off", #2 is .. oh, who cares?).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Somebody decide for me: do I make a phone call I don't want to make right now, or put it off until Monday? If it matters, calling will probably not result in a satisfactory outcome either way.

Yank off the bandaid, -t. Unless it will ruin your weekend. In which case, save your two days.

OK, thanks.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Besides, 50-50 chance whoever you need to talk to has already left for the weekend. So good karma for having made the call without the bad outcome.

Because books.

Now I have to go look up kyriarchy. You people are always making me work.
