Tara: 'Your One-Stop Spot to Shop for Lots of New-Age and Occult Items.' Catchy. Giles: Think so? Tara: Uh huh. In a... hard to say sorta way.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Dear PTB -

Why are you still making shit like, oh I don't know - whatever shit you are making for television these days - and NOT making any more "Slings & Arrows"? Why, for the love of Lear? I WANT RICHARD III!!

Stupid good show with there being no more stupids.

Aims

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Anything that looks good?

Tongues of Serpents, by Naomi Novik. Galileo's Dream by Kim Stanley Robinson. The War That Came Early: West and East by Harry Turtledove. Dragon Soul by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett.

ETA: I was planning to buy Naomi Novik's book, and I think I've heard positive things about Jones and Bennett. Don't know about the other two.

Okay, I don't know what you're sending her, but if it's related to what I think it is, why is my inbox looking so forlorn?

I've sent you most of what I've sent her already! Just over a longer period of time.

But I'll forward you what I just sent her.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The good thing, Aims, is that Slings and Arrows is endlessly rewatchable. I think I watched S1 six times in a row.

Anyone out there milking African cape buffalo

Widely considered to be the most dangerous of the five big game animals in Africa. (Uh...Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Leopard and Cape Buffalo.)

eta: Edited to remove the Cheetah, because even Nutty could take one.

I don't have scary blown fuses, I'm not in pain, I'm flush, I've got working doors and I am still so fucking cranky tonight. God. At least my hours today mean I can shirk work early, go take care of geriatric dog and have a fucking long swim. May even break out the new suit.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm not cranky at all! Even with the blown fuse, I wasn't cranky so much as concerned.

We got a new ball pit. Well, a new to us ball pit. I'm trying to create as much of an OT environment as possible. (I also made a bean box which is a huge sensory thing and I keep hiding Grace's favorite toys in it). Noah LOVES the ball pit, but man it's a mess.

And we had our first bee sting today. The stinger was poking out of Noah's belly but he hadn't even cried. Yet he cries if you tell him no. Sigh.

We also bought Kale for blends and Kale Chips. NOM NOM NOM.
