Randomly funny -- I was saying to my coworker that I had made this soup for my grandmother, because she's not eating enough, and she said she does the same thing for her mother. Timelies all!

Never played the alphabet game on family trips.(And boy were there plenty of family trips growing up) One game I do remember was looking for license plates from as many states as possible.

I was having quesadillas for supper and planning to go see a screening of The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. The first bite of my quesadilla tasty mouldy (everything looked fine) and the movie seems too intense for my mood. So it's a Blizzard for supper and the new Sept issue of Vogue for entertainment.

I may regret not going to the screening, but I have seen it in theatres at least twice. I am curious to see how well it has aged.
