Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't like India's costume. I think it's too in the middle. Miss Norway decided to look normal, and I think she looks great.

I'm also partial to Miss Jamaica. Go home team!

I think sex-as-reward also implies that having sex is a chore, and a rather unpleasant one at that: "You do these unpleasant household tasks for me, and in return I'll have sex with you." Which is different from "I'm kind of pissed right now so, no, I don't want to cuddle."

Because books.

Puerto Rico's is sort of pretty with the waterfall! Poor Miss Great Britain, though. That's just sad.

At the moment, I'm irritated by a certain six-year-old who comes to stare at me while I'm trying to make a business phone call. Go. Away. Now.

Today is just broken.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I agree, sarameg.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's not completely broken here yet, but then you all are three hours ahead.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

NO! I need today to be functional! Yesterday was broken! Or, okay, maybe it was just me. But for serious, people, I need to kick some productivity ass.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Today is just broken.

Seriously - what's up with that?

I'm spinning my wheels here at work waiting on environmental factors I can't do anything about, but the clock is still ticking.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have been fairly productive with work, despite many others' attempts to make things difficult, but I still did not get nearly all I need to do done.

Now I need to eat, run an errand, and get mac before my mom loses her mind.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Arrgh- I am back on politics... how is President Obama "Forcing People to bow to Islam."?!??!?!?!?!?!

I feel like the assholes who go on and on about the liberal media, but the conservative media machine has got people convinced that somehow islam is impinging on our freedom of religion, that the government telling someone who they can marry (and making a law about it) is not against the ideal of fewer laws and regulations, that people are pumping out babies not in an effort to better their condition, but in order to take over this country. And the thing that makes me mad is that I really do suspect that this is a planned, concerted effort of mis-information, all the while tainting the other news with the brush of "liberalism". And in a particularly brilliant move, linking liberalism and education and elitism so that any attempt to make a rational counterargument is met with suspicion-- facts are something somehow educated people made up in order to stay rich. And then these jackasses that are perpetuating this are the rich ones. Gah!
