polishes! Fun!

Also, I have decided kombucha is assy and I don't want anymore. It's precisely what you would expect tea fermented from a "mushroom" might taste like.

I can handle kefir because it's like a lassi, but kombucha. BLECH. It's like a shot of straight vinegar.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Kat, was it plain kombucha? I really only like kombucha with a fruit flavor added. Plain kombucha seems like a dare. Although I have to admit that the kombucha my brother has on tap at his brewpub (they ferment it there) tasted almost like weak iced tea, not assy.

Still, I stick with the fruity shit.

Steph, it was the GT/Synergy one. Raspberry. Totally not for me, which is fine... God knows I already drink kefir which makes me weird. This one: [link]

I've had that one! It made me itchy. I stick with locally-brewed kombucha.

I never knew either of my grandfathers, but my paternal grandmother (that I shared with like 30 cousins) was like a Norman Rockwell painting come to life - the plump, cheerful reassuring figure that the whole huge family orbited around, who always had a kitchen full of stuff baking and roasting. My maternal grandmother that lived with us was more in the Irene Ryan mode, the outwardly cantankerous touch-as-nails type who had a tendency to get into unintentionally hilarious situations.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ooo! I'd love to be in on the polish exchange this time around. I have stuff to share now.

Also, never tried kombucha but think I'll hold off until I can try the stuff at Steph's brother's brewpub because that sounds like it tastes good.

I ate fried chicken today. It was delicious but it gave me acid indigestion. I haven't had it in like a year. Totally unfair of my body to penalize me in this way.

OKAY! YAY! I have stuff that could go in the box if it came around again too.

I am the last person in the chain, so once it gets to me I will post something about the next round.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Burrell, if you do the polish exchange, I can just put the polish I have to send to you. From, um, a while ago. Or I just just mail it to you. Eventually.

ha Cass! Don't worry, it's all good. I look forward to it, whenever it shows up.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, polish. Like nail polish. I was thinking Polish exchange. I'm not sure what that would be.
