If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

We are all about the reaching out. And the connecting with.

Solutioning irks, but it's one of those where I can see how it developed as basically a less clunky "developing a solution for." Mind you, that's how we got into this whole "actionable" mess.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For ita, a piece on Graciella Casillas.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

This seems like the appropriate time to mention Unsuck It!.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My favorite take is from Calvin and Hobbes: Verbing weirds language.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha ha! That site doesn't even know solutioning. ita's work is the worst.

Because books.

"Solutioning" also reminds me of "A Little Less Conversation":

"All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me..."

brillig

Was poking around the TV listings for tonight and saw a broadcast on PBS of one of the Jeremy Brett Holmes, and Jude Law is in it. That version of Holmes is almost like the old Twilight Zone, but with British actors that you recognize later.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is it wrong that I don't really care that the (alleged) craigslist killer killed himself?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Turkey lentil chili is simmering on stove, blue cheese scallion biscuits are in the oven. I am a fucking domestic goddess.
