I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've been rewatching WC eps this weekend and catching up with S2. Hard Sell, where Neal thinks Peter is the one after/hiding Kate is just painful. Neal is just bleeding all over the screen. Gah. And now I'm watching Need to Know and Peter is hiding things from Neal again and I just want to MAKE IT STOP.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I had the hivemind insomnia, but that`s regular for me when the SO isn`t here. I woke up this morning at the exact moment I needed to leave for church. But I was too full of gronk. So far all I have accomplished today is closing the windows (three hours late) and opening the shades. I think maybe next coffee and then nail polish. We`ll see if all my productivity plans kick in some time after that.

I did fuckall yesterday (I had a headache and felt crappy), and last night was all hot and icky and I wanted air conditioning (the first night so far in Seattle this year I have).

Today, it's before 10AM, and I'm contemplating doing something, but...that would involve being out and about, which would be hot and icky.

Later today I will probably go to the beach with friends.

I feel like a slacker who should be Getting Things Done. But the only things I can think that really need to be done are paying bills, buying lightbulbs (fancy ones), and cleaning. Meh. Well, and WORK. But I'm not doing that on a Sunday!

Because books.

I'm watching it, too, brenda!

So far I've only seen the pilot, and the current S2 episodes. The pilot was SO good. I can't wait to catch up on the rest of S1.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm eating the omlette Joe picked up for me in bed while updating my Girl Scout address book in Gmail and posting pictures on Facebook. Em and I were going to see a sing along screening of The Wizard of Oz at the Michigan Theater but monies are short since our UIA payment didn't come in. Thankfully, they are showing it Tuesday evening, as well. I think Em and I might head over to the pool later, though.

Shopping done. Got my latest TJ's crack: reuben wrap- pastrami and sauerkraut on a rye tortilla. I don't know wht I love it so much, I don't normally like sauerkraut. I always get one eat-it-now treat at TJs.

Pouring rain now. As soon as it lets up, pool I go.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Mmmm. Good sleep! And my house is clean -- yay!

Went downstaira to make coffee, asked D how he was (fine), and he looked at me, rapt: "I had STRAWBERRY CAKE for breakfast!"

He's SO high-maintenance.

Trying to figure out what to do today. I think I might clean out the car, job hunt....ooh, I have a massage gift cert! Maybe I'll do that!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Good heavens. There was a murder suicide in my neighborhood last night! It happened while I was at the lake. I never heard the emergency vehicles, though.

This neighborhood is so weird, in its setup. It was an old, poor, rural neighborhood in the eighties. There was lots of drug dealing and stuff. And then developers came in and glossed everything up and basically built a country club on top of the poor neighborhood. Then that was successful so they built the private air strip. So you literally have really run down places and meth houses, and then on the same street you have summer vacation homes. My area is kinda in between, but it`s closest to the lake and the airport, so you have homes with hangars instead of garages on the next street over.

Not that the socioeconomics defines violent acts like this, of course. It`s just bizarre and very unsettling in such a small neighborhood.

...I suddenly have a new thing to aspire to that I had never imagined. Wow.
