Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mmmmm, panzanella caprese. I should totally make some of that up soon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Okay, I'm all for good daddies, but I am getting a little tired of the motif of men with babies on tv.

Sorry for the random, I am watching Haven right now.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hi, all! Wow, I haven't tipsy-posted in a while.

My party was fun, nice and low-key but good. Cute babies for a couple of hours, then they conked out and we had some more drinks.

It wasn't godawful hot out, my friend made us a killer homemade strawberry cake, and I even cleaned up before I came up here!

D is "asleep." He drank whiskey and went to bed, skinny dear.

OOh, i got this gorgeous cobalt polished geode bookends. They are soooo pretty. Is there blue agate?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Watching a show on the Cooking Channel called "Drink Up" (yes, I know that it's 3AM, I'm not drunk, I'm waiting for cheesecakes to cool because I would rather stay up late and finish them than get up at 7 to make sure that they're in the fridge for 8 hours before I take them somewhere at 4) But, I digress. The "mixologist" was making a drink with something she called "Italian bitters" and I said "hey, that's FERNET"

Fernet!

smonster, talk to me of how to deal with plastic. Not the clearly recyclable bits but the things that package so much in my life. I hate throwing them away but I can't figure out the right way to deal with them. Either here or you can always always email. I just figured that posting here might spread the word if there were tips when me quietly emailing you was lost.

I AM going to get dressed and go to the store. Soon. Then I will strip paint and clean and swim.

I got a splinter full of stripper yesterday (through 2 gloves) and while I got it out, it still hurts.

I really want to go back to bed.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Finally up. I woke up around 1:30 and stayed awake until 4, but luckily I finally fell back to sleep. Today I need to go to the gym, do laundry, and clean the apartment. Also, getting groceries might be nice. I do like having food around.
