Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Figured it out. The outlet it was plugged into wasn't working. Different outlet, and now it's running. Really loud, too.

OK, have a swimsuit, but didn't have to drive out to the airport for it. It is pink, though. No other choices.

I just got my new renters insurance policy. I'm covered for damage caused by war, but not by earthquakes.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We are the Miracle-you've-even-gotten-dressed-borns today. We are finally all of us showered and dressed and getting ready to go to met my niece and then to Joe's cousin's birthday party.

We have one stop to make at a grocery store on the way there to get food for my sister and maybe some booze cause I think she needs it - niece is not breastfeeding well and as a result, not eating as much as to make sleeping longer and better for all. Poor noodle.

Punishingly Intricate

Where'd you get the new suit, sara?

I got plums, blackberries, limas, corn, spinach, sweet taters, cukes, bread, and salmon spread at the farmers mkt. Oh an d maters. Then dairy at whole foods.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Whew. Ugh. Ok, so I have: moved all the glass recyclables outside to take, weeded the front walk area, put in the new solar walkway lights, washed ALL THE THINGS (i.e., outdoor furiture), swept the deck of doom, and raked most of the patio of mulch and hosed it down.

Now for a little water and panting break, then to the recycling center, then back porch clean up before it gets even hotter.

After than, it's all easy indoor stuff and grocery store.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went running and came back covered with mud. Oh, and there was a marathon on the trails, so I had to hug the side of the trail (with the dog) and try not to run into the dozens and dozens of people going the other way. What was awesome was the number of women in the group, especially women who are not the body shape one generally associates with long-distance running. Go apples and pears, break those stereotypes!

Then I ruined the benefit of the run by having a croissant with butter and jam for breakfast. And now I should clean my house. And go to the grocery store to get food to make my folks for dinner.

Took a claritin this morning, and seems under control, thank goodness.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

YAY pink suit!

well we all seemed to have gotten a good night sleep. There is a lot of stuff going on with my parents, specifically my mom. Therapy should be interesting next week, because I am dumping it all out there.

meanwhile, we are back home. I have vacuumed and mac even helped. because of mac stealing $$ from me earlier this Spring and then from the store yesterday, he now owes me $56. Since his allowance is only $1/week, he is going to have the opportunity to earn extra $$ by doing chores above and beyond his normal minimal responsibilities.
