Art Crawl!!!

Today is the last Summer Hours Friday for me. And it's going to be deadly hot. So I will be laying low and drinking lots of water.

My cat is already wandering 'round the apartment complaining.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Naturally, my favorite was "Do you live in New York or San Francisco?"

Heh. I considered my previous landlord after running across an online profile where he made it clear he was looking, but decided in the end that I was too fond of the apartment to risk any awkwardness.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For tommy:

OMG that is funny!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's chocolate cake in the kitchen. Do I eat that instead of the cinnamon roll I bought for breakfast?

My meetings are falling out from underneath me today. I...am at a loss. My whole week has been driving from one meeting to another. I think my whole day just lost all of them. And at least one? Was freaking important and way overdue.

My sister has a pair of orange pants I hate. On at least one occasion she has worn these pants where she knows she's going to see me because she knows I bear an irrational loathing for them. I just...orange pants. I think that's enough. Today I'm wearing my pink and black polka dot and plaid top. Objectively I assess it as more than a bit ugly. It would be so satisfying if my sister hated it. I'd send her pics of me wearing it every time. I love this top.

These paragraphs were brought to you by no uniting principle whatsoever.

Eat both! Cake now, roll later.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hating orange pants is just good common sense.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am wearing orange patent leather shoes. And a brown and orange dress. And it is cute as all get out.

Velma looks quite fetching in her orange shirt and socks....
