Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Times told me that Stevens always thought he'd die in a plane crash, so there's that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Stevens survived a plane crash in the 1970s that killed his wife.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

WRT the JetBlue guy, according to the NYT's article yesterday (which made me laugh out loud multiple times), JetBlue didn't call the Port Authority police for over 30 minutes after the incident. The NYT speculated it was to give the JetBlue guy time to get home. That seems specious to me. But funny.

And when the cops got to his house, he was doing his boyfriend, per Gawker...

Why is it only 2:33? Are the cats slowing down Earth's rotation again?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Allyson! That's fantastic! Peter Freaking Beagle loved your book, holy shit!

You realize the downside to this is that you can never again worry about not being a good enough writer without someone saying, Dude, Peter Freaking Beagle!

Now that I'm sitting in a new location, I feel like I should put up a sign warning people that they may not want to look at my monitor. Maybe a "What has been seen cannot be unseen" LOLcat?
