Passenger should suffer some consequence too.
Definitely. What bothers me about the flight attendant's actions is that he decided to take his (absolutely justified) anger out on the entire plane, most of whom were innocent bystanders.

I did get your e-mail, thanks! I will respond to it when I get home. Remind me what the best way is to pay you?
I know some reports say he cussed out the whole plane, but the quote sounded like he was just referring to the one guy, but said it over the announcement system so that everyone could hear.
Apparently one of my friends from college was on the plane, and is extensively quoted in various news reports (I found out from his FB, but others were on FB going "Dude! I knew there couldn't be more than one "Phil Catalinet!")

SAM THE BAT is a delightful book that manages at once to teach children about a fascinating and greatly misunderstood species, while holding them under the spell of a touching - and often very funny - story with an appealing hero. I'm sorry I didn't get to read it to my own children.... - Peter S. Beagle, author of The Last Unicorn and Mirror Kingdoms
The seat-belt sign is not a suggestion.
Yeah, that pisses me off.
Wow, Allyson! That's awesome!
Allyson, fuck, that's an amazing endorsement.
I want to smack the people that ignore the seat belt and phone rules on planes. Why won't they let me?
A good friend of mine is a flight attendant, and yeah, they are there for a reason.
