I love this blogger's occasional posts about long walks in Chicago. The latest is his ten-mile hike along 79th Street, through the heart of the South Side.
As one of the walkers says, the day ends up being a tribute to mom-and-pop stores.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
