Stripping for the night done. You know, I really need to make a template for the plastic I have to tape down instead of swearing a lot as the goddamn masking tape sticks to gloves and everything but the floor and plastic. Will I? Probably not. Good thing I am doing my nails this weekend. Royally fucked them up tonight.

Right now is the first time since Monday that I don't feel completely overwhelmed by work. (I'm ignoring the fact that the only way to feel that way was to push another hour or so of work off until tomorrow)
(well, that lasted for about 20 minutes).
Ok, so I'm always my house likes carrots but I'm not the only one. Tonight, I was coming back from the pool and my neighbors were moving in a set of shelves, so I volunteered extra hands, since they needed it. Anyway, got to see inside their house (exposed brick on the back wall is gorgeous!) and while I was in there, R wanted to show off their new bathroom. It's lovely, and they saved the tile floor. Anyway, it was funny. Because then I invited them over to see my stripping project, since they were talking about doing theirs. So they came over. We ALL LOVE CARROTS. And want to show off.
Puppy! What kind(s) is he?
He's a three year old chihuahua. My sister says he's very mellow. His human mama passed away and they have Cody's daughter so the widower doesn't think he can handle both dogs. If my kids are calm enough and he's as mellow as my sister says he is, he may be coming home with us.
So cute, cash!
msbelle, that hutch is lovely.
N is in bed. G is getting her breathing treatment. Are we done yet?
I'm trying to be rational about the cutiehead. We do have young kids and they may possibly not be the best for him if he's jumpy or nervous. I hope he's good for us. He may be a great addition to the family.
I hope he meshes with your all!
I didn't weigh in on this before, but I really love Emma Watson's haircut. More importantly, in reading her talking about it, I love how normal and grounded she sounds. I think she's beautiful no matter what, but she looks lovely and she sounds like someone I'd love to talk to.
I hope the dog works out, Cash. He's a little cutie.
I have spent 10 hours this week out among the humans. That's a quarter of a normal work week and I am totally exhausted. And I wasn't working, just being sociable! How do all you working people do it? And then also strip paint and take care of children and generally do things other than sleep. It's amazing.
Rhetorical question but I will presumably have to figure that out before too long and it is giving me a wiggins.
