The whole city is pretty shaken over it. It's grown a lot, but it still feels pretty small [link]
Natter 66: Get Your Kicks.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I saw that on the news this morning. They couldn't swim. Yet they were in the river. Which apparently drops off from 3 feet to 28 feet in a hurry.
Gah! People! Stay away from the deep water if you can't swim! By which I don't (entirely) mean the putative rescuers--you risk your life for someone in jeopardy. Just...as recreation that's awfully dangerous.
Completely tritely, who's good chain pizza? Papa John's? Domino's? Pizza Hut? Migraine has me pretty unhungry, so it's hard to choose subjectively, but I really should have some easy food around. I used to just order PJ because they had the simplest online system, but that's probably moot now.
Oh, God, how heartbreaking. I can't imagine the horror and grief those families, and the lone survivor, are going through.
As always, DON'T READ THE COMMENTS. Or, if you do, maybe you'll join me in taking up a collection to fly ita around the country to cockpunch some of the commenters.
Papa John's was the unofficial pizza of Rice, so I have a soft spot for them. (They do have a good online system, too.) And Pizza Hut is my family's favorite.
The Red River story is just awful. And the kids who died were two trios of siblings. God.
I could NOT READ THE COMMENTS, but ita's cock punching world tour sounds more entertaining and productive!
Papa John's sauce is too sweet and the crust is too thick. Pizza Hut gives you the option of thin crust.
There are no words for the kids.

But they give you garlic butter to eat it with!
I like Domino's better than Papa John's, but I haven't had the new stuff.
I like pretty much every kind of Pizza except Pizza Hut which sometimes makes me sick for some unknown reason. The only Pizza my wife likes (at least in the area), you guessed it, Pizza Hut.
