You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

So Matilda is the child equivalent of a Jack Russell - moved only by praise and the possibility of going out.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Well, donut holes are the best part of the donut.

OMG guys, I finally got a call for my second interview, a week after originally promised!

I did call them this morning, though. A gentle check-in.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

msbelle, do you have a HEB nearby? HEB is apparently the bombdiggity for finding rare OPI shades.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

JZ, you guys must have to use Mitchell's a lot given that you could sneak her beans & cheese and avocado to her in ice cream form...

Congrats on the second interview score, Nora Deirdre!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

HEB is apparently the bombdiggity for finding rare OPI shades.

Okay, that's weird.

Okay, that's weird.

I know, right?

Still, last year I was trying to figure out how I could plot a HEB-hitting road trip until I came to my senses.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's a shame I'm not in Houston any more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So my boss calls me to find out why I'm not at work.

Seems his email is broken, and he hadn't realised it until I said, surprised, that I'd emailed him this morning telling him I wouldn't be in. So he's been thinking shit about me all morning.

But I tell him I'm having a migraine (yep, now I'm out) and he's all WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU???

So I feel more emotionally at cross purposes. Oy, man.

Off to pharmacy to get meds. At least that's simple.

Punishingly Intricate

So he's been thinking shit about me all morning.

He probably was worried about you because, I'm guessing, you are a pretty good communicator generally.

Today was my first day working from home sitting on an exercise ball. My back kind of hurts. I don't know if it's too low or I just have to get used to it. I do like doing backbends over it!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oy, indeed, ita.
