Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Schadenfreude! It doesn't look good for American Apparel. [link]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Slept in a little. It's going to be another scorcher here today -- at least 98 degrees, and heat index of 110. Guess this means no weeding for me. Boo fucking hoo. I may try to get a little done this evening.

ita, I feel so bad for you. I'm not a doctor, so this is totally anecdotal, but y'all know how bad my insomnia is. Mt doc started me on Seroquel for it's secondary sedative effects, and for the last three weeks, I have been going to sleep well on 100 mg of it only. I started with taking 25/50 mgs of it, paired with 10 mgs of Ambien, and it was great, and then I tapered to just the Seroquel.

I was taking 20-50 mgs of Ambien to get to sleep, so this is pretty amazing. Just a thought, to ask your doc about. I have no idea how it would interact with your other meds, but I just wish you could feel better.

I never played drinking games, so that might explain the dearth of my knowledge. Any drinking in groups I did was at radio station parties in college, and all the interest was in who was screwing whom and station/department politics.

Ah, but you see, when you play questions, or "I never", you can discover valuable information about group politics and who is screwing who! Or at least, that's what often happened with the theater crowd.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And I would enjoy some outfit-based songs, if you have them.

In your in-box, and also at buffistarawk.

Plus she took up accordion because she loves Tom Waits and French music.

*****

You’ve seen Tom Waits live, I assume, since you love him. Have you met him?

Yeah, at the Wiltern—probably one of the best shows I’ve seen. I got to have dinner with him. I talked more to his wife than to him, and I’m sure they wouldn’t even remember having dinner with me—but I got to sit there and watch him eat food, which was a huge thrill for me.

Also, her mom let her dye her hair red when she was 10 y.o. because Christina was obsessed with Anne of Green Gables. It's been red ever since.

Well, except for her goth period in high school.

Still: goth, Anne of Green Gables, Tom Waits, Firefly, retro pinup style. Wowza.
