Thanks, guys. The best I can hope for today is an early refill of my pain meds, but I can make that short jaunt to pick them up myself.

I just...fuck, I can't believe I'm taking a sick day now, at this point in the project. I feel so fucking unreliable. But I get no points for going in to work feeling like grade A shit every day. I just don't think I can do that whole drive this morning. It hurts down to my knees again. And I was just in the ER for ten hours on Sunday.

Unemployment counselor is so backed up that I took #54 and was directed to come back 2-ish, with the hope that she'll get to that number before closing for the day at 4:30.

OTOH, with the legislation in place, I'll be good for another 30 weeks, which is amazingly reassuring at this point.

My migraine specialist has run out of angles, pretty much. I'm filling out a prescription for Canadian drugs (whoot! discontinued in the US because they kill people), so maybe that will make a difference.

He's trying to get me an appointment up in SF, but as Betsy HP will tell you, that's a bitch and a half. I think he's mostly shot his wad.

If only I could sleep nights, this mightn't be so bad. But I've been up since 2, after another night of restive dreaming (they weren't bad dreams--Zachariah would totally try and incept Dean--but they made me think too much). But the Ambien barely works.
