I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Also, I cannot imagine being organized enough to make a list. I can barely pack, and still by the end I am either throwing random things out or packing them in garbage bags. And I still have about 20 unpacked boxes on my back porch from when I moved into this apartment 5 years ago.

The status is NOT quo.

Megan, speaking of your organizing prowess, when you come visit (note the "when," not "if"), I am in need of your services. Again. I will bribe you with tasty dinners and desserts and alcoholic beverages.

I am trying to figure out if the chief of police is the guy from DaVinci's inquest.

Yes, Nicholas Campbell played Dominic Da Vinci.

They are all books. Last summer I bought bookcases and unpacked about 5 boxes. This summer I will probably unpack the rest on my vacation.

I have about .000001% of your energy, msbelle.

hip deep in pie

Sophia, that is the dude from DaVinci. I have only seen parts of two episodes, so I haven't seen the reporters yet.

Sophia, throw those things away.

This.

If you have things you love so much that you can't bear to part with them, display them where you can see and enjoy them. Otherwise, give or throw them away.

Hmmm, you make a compelling argument.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whew! I got to the end of the thread and you are being all organizey. I am lolling around in bed wondering how long I can practically work the travel hangover angle. Not this long, I suspect. I am discombobulated because we are effectively flooded in. We didn`t make it to church this morning and instead made an emergency grocery run. I`m supposed to register the sweet new ride tomorrow and the SO teaches, but I am unconvinced either of those things are going to happen.

I did make peanut butter cookies and went on a long ramble with the dog, so it`s a win for the day despite the rain induced lazy.

I did make spreadsheets for the move, to go with my color coded six digit labels. But that didn`t stop me from having boxes of detritus that should never have been moved. I just knew which boxes they were.

So, sarameg is stripping paint off her banister with goo. Dillo and I are stripping paint off our bathroom door using our fingernails! Someone painted it in latex over oil paint without priming, and it comes off in sheets. Very satisfying.

Of course, once we get the latex off, we have to decide what to do next. The underlayer is very dirty and peach-colored. To strip all the layers off with goo? Or just wash, prime, and paint? Either way needs to wait until we can work outside.
