For the car trip, I've just downloaded fifteen kabillion free iPhone kids' games and a season each of Dinosaur Train, Super Why, and Spongebob, to be loaded onto my old phone. Earlier today I stopped at the .99 store and cleaned out their coloring book section. Tomorrow we're loading up on snacks at TJs. I am Prepared Mom!

Finished a couple hours of cleaning the too-gross-for-words (really, I mean it) mess my younger sister left after her years of living here and using this particular bathroom. I am now going to move to the delousing chamber and take a bath for 50 years to rid myself of the ew ew ew.
God, someone just sent me a request that will take ma a couple of hours to do, and I know he's going to tell me it can wait until Monday, but just the thought of maybe having to do it tonight makes me want to cry.
If b.org were not a no emoticon zone, I would definitely give you a sad face for that, Perkins. I hope he in fact *does* tell you it can wait. I hope you also get some very nice after-work drinks in.

If I don't sell the TV, DVD and CD player with an iPod dock, I think I will Craigslist them, see what I can get.
You might as well list them on Craigslist now, with the sale address, no? Maybe someone looking for that stuff specifically will come by.
So now it turns out my grandmother isn't feeling up to a day at the beach, which is really too bad. On the flip side, it means I don't have to be anywhere until 9:30. One pie is in the freezer, and the other is mostly done...

I just had a co-worker tell me his maxim that boys grow up to be boys, and that's why fart jokes are still funny. I just couldn't work out how hard I could laugh and not seem...inappropriate, but then again, I'd just implied his teenaged daughter might have kids soon, so line-crossing, ita done it already.

I just hooked up my TIVO!!!! YAY!!!! And I culled all the religious and spanish channels. No big surprise fun channels like I would get with the NYC fake cable, but there does seem to be some independent channel that shows old sitcoms and dramas. good times.
