I never understand how people get these random items they are selling (uness he was selling off his own used items). The other day someone had 15 packages of 'reesies' peanut butter cups and was selling them for nine dollars.
There is a guy who regularly sells cigarettes downtown, but he goes to the reservation to buy them and I understand how he is making a profit. He also sells individual cigarettes, which there seems to be a need for. My convenience store does, too, but they also sell individual bottles from a six pack. The son, who works nights, seems to also have a booming marijuana business, and I can only imagine the repurcussions when his father finds out, because he is a pretty straight laced older man of some eastern european descent. He even turns in or yells at the school kids in his store during the day when they should be at school.
When I worked on the South side of Minneapolis, we'd get people trying to sell stuff all the time. Once my boss bought an office phone from a guy who was going door to door trying to sell it. I discovered that it already had numbers programmed into it, and its serial number had been removed.
Ahhhh, the vegetarian black bean chili is made. Many strong flavors were brought to the pot (garlic, curry, cayenne).
And now I'm listening to Bon's Trip Hop mix and drinking a vodka tonic.
Aerial ski commentator: "When he lands jumps, he scores well." Gee, really?
Can't he land jumps and still not score well?
I just got home for the third time tonight 10 minutes ago. Uhg.
Anyway, Mister Kitty's diagnosis: he's old and a very well regulated diabetic. If he gets any other symptoms (he's lost weight in the last 6 months or so, which prompted this) they might run tests for kidney function, but both me and the vet are on the same page preferring palliative options for a 16 year old diabetic cat. Who has had diabetes for SEVEN years! I hadn't realized it'd been that long! And the vet was saying he often sees 'em start to go downhill and pop up other problems after 2.
So score a few extra lives for my oldmancat.
Random question, when did Zappos drop Fluevogs?
Laura, I've been distracted all day and not caught up till now--wanted to wish you Happy Birthday!
I hope you guys find the perfect house and office space!
H's laptop got zapped by that virus protection worm, and he's busily removing what data files he can. It can be fixed, but for a couple hundred dollars more than that would cost he can get a new laptop, so that's what he's going to do.
I'd get one too, but the thought of moving my vids and iTunes video files, what music I have, graphics and photos and years' worth of text documents gives me great pause.
when did Zappos drop Fluevogs?
Imagine hearing this question 20 years ago.
HA! Aurelia, that's exactly what I thought while typing it up...."20 years ago this was gibberish!"
