I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Jesse.

I have just about hit my daily tolerance limit for paperwork, and yet my time sheets from last week aren't done yet.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dogs get freaked out by "Law and Order" theme?

Apparently, the Law and Order theme song pisses off a lot of dogs. A quick YouTube search reveals dozens of videos recorded by dog owners who observe their pets flipping out when the TV show theme music begins. Does the tune contain a hidden frequency that only canines can hear? More here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor Jesse.

I know, right?

Shit, just heard that our awesome roofer just died. Don't know the details yet. I've been recommending him to neighbors worried about their roofs after all this snow.

Totes!

eta: context, and sympathies for your roofer.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Apparently, the Law and Order theme song pisses off a lot of dogs.

Maybe they're just mad that the show has lasted longer than most dogs do.

Oh shit, Lisa.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Do you have your checking account with BoA too?

My checking account is through a credit union, who unfortunately do not offer autopayment services.

I'm so nostalgic or Torvill and Dean.

I'm sorry to hear that, lisah.

It's weird. I never actually met him but he was so great as a roofer -- on time and easy to work with and, as far as I know, he did great work. I'm kind of dreading telling Bob about it because he actually met the guy and really liked him.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That`s terrible, lisah.

In happier news, I am on another snow day. I would have posted earlier, but I was busy having snow day sex.

Okay, not that whole time. I also did laundry and dishes and worked on newsletters and lazed around watching Olympics. So good times all around. But yay snow day!
