Alibelle, I take back everything about the bra, good for you on using a giftcard.
classic lit available for free online
There is. I think it is dailylit.com that will email you classic lit for free. I can't remember all the details, but I was reading a chapter a day of something that way until work got busy last year.
I was having weird dreams. Beyonce was telling me I needed to get into a relationship with this guy I went to college with. Jay-Z was there too, we were all filming a commercial together and J and B and I seemed to go way back. so odd.
Timelies all!
Yesterday was a day for getting reading material. First went to the library and checked out my usual large stack of books. Then my monthly comic book shop trip. Wound it up by ordering a bunch of books from a mystery & SF bookstore that used to be bricks and mortar, but is now online only. (I realized that there were a couple of fantasy paperbacks coming out very soon I wanted, but I would not be at a SF con with book dealers until Memorial Day. I added a few mystery novels that had recently come out, and voila!)
9 am is the time to hit TJ's apparently. Was not its usual insane parking and lines. Target and groceries also acquired. I have a panera soufflé and iced coffee. Plan to get to the pool by noon, then back to bake cookies/laundrate/clean. Hopefully will be enough hours in the day to dye my hair and get my tax documents together.
I'm not sure why so much got crammed into this weekend.
Today I swear I will use up those softened bananas. I had to toss the last few I saved. Not these. Make me.
Not till I've finished watching Kidnapped, though. I swear, I thought I paid attention to TV. How did I miss this the first time round?

Or you can stick them in the freezer. That's what I always do, actually. Then when I get to three it's nanna bread time.
I did that the last couple times, and when I took them out they were just about liquid. I guess I got them in too late. Which is about now, age-wise.
I have three--I just need to schedule for inclination and energy.
eta: I think I'll even go for Alpen banana muffins, even though those are the costliest banana muffins ever. 3 smooshed bananas is about a cup?

Even though they made 13 episodes, only the first few made it to the air on it's original run. Good to see, though, that Timothy Hutton has no concerns about type-casting.
I need to watch this show, don't I?
Random trivia gossip catchup:

That's comforting.
Well, for me, not them.
I'm watching a scene with Tim in a bar right now, and it's weird. It's episode 9. Nate would have fixed things by now! But the whole
son in trouble
premise does make me expect certain flashbacks.
I need to bump my Nero Wolfe DVDs higher in the list. Despite having almost 200 titles in my instant viewing queue, I resent shows/titles that need to be viewed on physical media.
I love John Rogers and his attitude to distribution that puts Leverage (theoretically, at least) available legally online within days of airing. I can keep my TiVo clean, and rewatch without having to skip commercials.
I need to watch this show, don't I?
I like it. It has a similar atmosphere to Damages, without the insane manipulative air.
