Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Hi, people! I have some questions, and I thought this might be the place to ask them.

1) Why is two-man bobsled failing to interest me? Despite German butt-slapping pre-event. I thought I loved every Olympic event. But this is pretty boring.

2) My girl-cat is complaining loudly about something? What is bothering her? She stops whenever I look at her, but clearly something is driving her (and therefore me) bonkers. I suspect a ghost bug, but I'm unsure.

3) Should I cave and buy another book on my nook? (Untold problem about ereaders: Fewer checks on your book impulse shopping.) I was supposed to be on a budget this month.

4) Should I keep this pretty sports bra I ordered? Or should I get a size up, which comes in the color I actually wanted?

And finally 5) How have you been?

I await your wisdom.

Perkins! I don't know yet. Probably get to those activities I have not managed to tackle this weekend. Why? What's up?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Alibelle! I don't have answers to any of your questions. But the two-man bobsled was boring me because I just kept waiting for the announcers to say anything other than "This is the fastest track in the world!" and they never did.

Do not buy another book! Stay on budget!

Only get the size up bra if it will fit better, fit trumps color.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Did anyone watch Kidnapped when it originally aired? I added it to my queue for the Linus Roache, but the Tim Hutton and Jeremy Sisto and Delroy Lindo are really more front and centre and great reasons to show up. I'm assuming, due to content, it was always supposed to be a miniseries, right?

I so need to watch this.

I'mma rent it.

Ditto.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you Netflix, Cass, Kidnapped is streaming. I'm up to episode 6.

It's pretty good.

Aw, msbelle, you are a good mom. And I get that a visit here is not in the works. In my fantasy dreamworld, you buy a car in TX but have to roadtrip it up for the last of the stuf and I get 2 visits.

But you are more organized than that.

My fav hardware store/deli/grocery in Ellicott city is transforming to largely deli. They'll survive because they make their own sausage, which is in demand, but they used to do home deliveries. It's been a family business since 1885. It's next to my hairdresser's and I always have made a point of going in and buying a sandwich or some random item. It tickled me to death, it was a general store! Now it'll be something else, which is sad, but it will survive. That's good.

I've become such a goober for 'hoodism.

I didn't put my chair out today when I left. Someone else put it out for me. Cracks me up. We cleaned the fucking street, we take care of our own. I LOVE MY PEOPLES.
