I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

In that case, it should have been a lot more memorable.

hip deep in pie

I got this email from a friend tonight:

You are so right, FIREFLY IS THE BEST. I have only one episode left (and then the movie). SNIFFFFFF! So good.

Ha! A little late.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My 81-year-old mom arrives tomorrow for a 10-day stay. There will be much listening to oft-told family stories and watching old movies in my future. March 1 is the anniversary of my dad's death, so she wisely likes to be with family on that date. Yay Mom!

I've done that, brenda. And it broke the bottle.

If the wine won't thaw, I'm going to have to drink more of the cherry licquer. Which rocks, but ould end badly.

Wine slushy!

I actually got a phone call earlier this morning from a local news station doing a robopoll about Tiger Woods! And had I watched his apology, and did I feel like he needed to say more about his personal life, did I feel like he could ever recover his image, blah blah blah. I was like "NO, HE DOES NOT NEED TO SAY MORE OMG" (sadly, my choices were only y/n/unsure)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Interesting article about eating disorders and unhealthy weight loss among ski jumpers. [link]

“Women’s gymnastics, you hear a lot that maybe they have problems,” said Alan Johnson, the executive director for Project X, the developmental United States ski jumping team. “I look at all of them and those girls are way fatter than ski jumpers.”

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

We're home, been here hours actually. The painting is not done and I am not happy with it. There are patchy areas, there's a spot with brush hairs, some trim has not been done, and some things I wanted removed were just painted around. Worse though is that the color is too yellow in the light of the front entry, possibly everywhere. I have to get more paint and I think I am going to have to redo at least the entry.

Shit, msbelle. That sounds like the painting in my place. My movers were all "did you complain to those guys" and I said "if by those guys you mean me, yes." If I hire someone I expect a much higher standard. Like, not not fucked up and in need of redoin.

The hell? Sounds like your place was painted by my seller!
